What is the Sseko Designs Affiliate Opportunity and how does it work?

Sseko Designs is a socially-conscious lifestyle brand that creates flexible entrepreneurial opportunities for women using a social-selling business model. Our products are available exclusively online and through in-home Trunk Shows and enables impact entrepreneurs here in the United States to create community and opportunity for women across the globe. 

Sseko is a verified member of the Fair Trade Federation and is honored to partner with artisan groups across the world who are also committed to creating fair and dignified employment, build the sustainable fashion movement and create opportunities for female scholars to advance and thrive. 

Our Affiliate Opportunity is a simple way to earn commissions and free products while creating an impact! No parties, pop-ups, or inventory required! Affiliates earn a minimum 20% commission on qualifying purchases from customers, up to 30% commission, PLUS product credit, and product discounts.  Affiliates also earn Credit by referring new Sseko affiliates to the program or new Independent Sseko Fellows to the brand. 

Is my website/blog eligible for the Affiliate Opportunity?

Yes! An Affiliate can post their link on their website or blog. Sales generated on the Sseko Designs website from your affiliate link will earn you commission (and help you earn additional rewards)!

What does it cost and are there any fees?

You must purchase the Sseko Affiliate Kit for $29 to get started! You will receive 60 Days free of your personal website and back-office tools and then it is only $9.99 a month after.  Affiliates will receive a $25 Credit in their Sseko account on the anniversary of their Join Date.

If I have multiple websites, do I need to apply separately for each?

No. You can use the same URL for your Affiliate link on multiple websites.

What is the commission rate?

Affiliates earn a minimum 20% commission on qualifying purchases from customers, up to 30% commission, PLUS product credit, and product discounts. Affiliates can also earn $50 in Sseko Credit for referring new Affiliates and Fellows  that join the Sseko Community.  

What is the average customer order value?

The average order size is $100+!

Is there a minimum annual threshold?

For Affiliates to maintain access to all the Perks of the Fellows Affiliate opportunity, they must maintain a cumulative of $500 in sales or purchases (combined) within the last 6 months. At least 50% of this amount must come from commissionale sales.

How do I set up my Account (we call it a Back Office!)?

I don’t have a website for my business, can I still enroll as an Affiliate?

No worries! You do not need a website to be a Sseko Affiliate. We will provide you with a unique URL that looks just like our Sseko Designs website but is associated with your account so people can shop with you and you will earn commission. All you will need to do is share the link! 

My website and/or I place orders on behalf of my clients. Can I still be a Sseko Designs Affiliate?

Yes!  Affiliates will have an account login (we call it a Back Office!) to login, manage customers, and place orders for your customers.  All orders placed for your customers in your back office will earn you commission!

DO I receive a discount on Sseko Designs products while I’m an Affiliate?

Yes! You will get a 20% discount on all Sseko Designs products.

Can I use images from Sseko Designs on my website?

Sseko HQ will share specific images and assets that you can use to share on your website through our Affiliate Facebook


I do not know some of the terminology used here.  Where can I learn more?

Affiliates will have access to an exclusive Facebook group for training, coaching and inspiration.  The Sseko Community Care team and our expert Sales team will be there every step of the way!

How does an Affiliate sign up?

Go to ssekodesigns.com/affiliate. Purchase our Affiliate Kit for $29 and within 2 business days, you will receive a confirmation email with your username, password, Affiliate URL link and Back Office login. If you do not receive a confirmation email within 2 business days, please contact affiliate@ssekodesigns.com.

How do I create links to Sseko Designs?

Affiliates will select their unique URL when they sign up.  All Affiliates will have a special link that leads to the Sseko Designs homepage.  It will follow the format: ssekodesigns.com/”affiliatesite”  (ie: ssekodesigns.com/janesmith)

Am I obligated to place a certain number of links on my website?

Nope! Affiliates can decide when and how to share their affiliate links.

How does the Affiliate program know when I should receive commission for an order?

All orders placed through the ssekodesigns.com website that come from customers who clicked on an affiliate link will be credited to your account.  

When and how do I get paid?

You will set up a direct deposit with your bank in your account (called your Back Office).  In order to receive commission Affiliates will need to enter their Social Security Number into their Affiliate Account (Back Office).  You will receive a Direct Deposit weekly that is initiated by Sseko HQ on a recurring basis. Affiliates cannot initiate Direct Deposit transfers. 


Do I earn commission if someone clicks on products on my site and then buys a different product?

All orders placed through the ssekodesigns.com website that come from customers who clicked on your affiliate link will be credited to your account.  Once the potential customer is on the ssekodesigns.com website and shops through your affiliate link, all items ordered will be credited to your account for commission.

As an Affiliate, can I build a team?

Affiliates will earn Referral Credit for every Fellow or Affiliate that joins Sseko from their Affiliate link.  New Fellows will be placed on your Uplines team, and new Affiliates will be assigned direct to HQ.  If you are interested in building a team, and earning even more commission and rewards, check out the Fellows Opportunity!

Can I upgrade my Affiliate account to a Fellows account? Upon upgrading to a Fellow, how can I qualify for the Monthly Join Special?

Yes! Within your first 30 days as an Affiliate, you can upgrade to a Fellows account by purchasing the Starter Kit for $120 in your Back Office. If you are outside of your first 30 days, you can purchase the Starter Kit at our full $149 cost by calling Sseko HQ. Each of these purchases will automatically qualify you for the Monthly Join Special.

To upgrade your Affiliate account to a Fellow account within your first 30 days, please purchase the $120 Starter Kit in your Back Office. Upon making this purchase, you will receive a confirmation email within 2 business days that will include your next steps!

To upgrade your Affiliate account to a Fellow account outside your first 30 days, please call our Community Care team at (503) 542-7492 within our business hours (10am - 9pm ET M-F or 1pm - 10pm ET Sundays).

If an Affiliate decides to upgrade to a Fellow account, what happens to their referrals?

When an Affiliate decides to upgrade their account to a Fellow, the Affiliate will be able to start building a team, and earning commission and bonuses on all new recruits after they upgrade their account.  Previous referrals will remain on the team they were placed on.

Will you provide extra support for high-traffic websites?

All Affiliates will have support from the Sseko HQ Community Care team, and also have access to an exclusive Affiliate group for training, coaching and inspiration. You can reach our Community Care team by emailing affiliate@ssekodesigns.com!

Do Affiliates who were previously Fellows get a chance at hitting Strong Start 1?

An Affiliate who purchases the "Virtual Kit" and creates a brand new account has the opportunity to earn Strong Start. If a previous Fellow downgrades to an Affiliate and does not opt into the Virtual Kit purchase, they will not be able to earn Strong Start.

If a Fellow downgrades to an Affiliate, does that mean their 6 month PV requirement for earning $500 starts over? 

A Fellow that downgrades to an Affiliate account DOES NOT start over their 6-month requirement for $500 in PV every 6 months.  The Fellow or Affiliate will need to maintain $500 in cumulative PV within a rolling 6-month period or will proceed to go Inactive. This policy is the same if an Affiliate upgrades to a Fellows account (cumulative $500 in sales over a 6-month rolling period). 

If a Fellow becomes an Affiliate do they get a new join date?

No. The join date will remain the same. It will also remain the same if an Affiliate becomes a Fellow.
